Approaching every client with an open heart and mind; Bonnie provides a warm, safe, and supportive environment in which her clients can explore the issues and challenges they face.
Bonnie earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Florida. Her training includes; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered and Solution-Focused therapies, relaxation training, mindfulness techniques, and trauma resolution.
Over her many years of work experience she has embraced children, adolescents, and adults with very diverse backgrounds and concerns. She worked fifteen years as a teacher and behavioral specialist in the public school system and ten years as a youth and family director for a community service agency.
As a solution focused counselor, base on her clients specific needs, she is able to integrate her training, education, and personal experiences to better help individuals problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and work toward positive life changes and experiences.
Bonnie takes the responsibility of working with clients very seriously and considers her work to be both a privilege and an honor.
Bonnie is a happily married mother of four children and enjoys a busy life and time with her family.
