Meet Crystal
Crystal takes a thoughtful approach to guide clients toward acceptance of where they are and where they want to be.
Crystal believes that navigating through difficult life situations should be a shared experience. It’s okay if you feel as though you’re not coping “as well” as you think you should or have in the past with other situations. Life consists of constant change and many times – all at once. Most people have not had a chance to learn to process their emotions or cope with difficult life experiences.
Crystal is a licensed therapist with 10 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families in community mental health settings and substance abuse treatment. She specializes in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, addiction, depression, relationship/family issues, grief, and trauma.
Crystal uses a variety of therapeutic methods such as solution-focused, family systems, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness therapy.
Crystal believes that change is possible and that therapy can help empower you with skills and insight to know that you’re more than capable of creating change in your own life.
Crystal earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University and is a member of the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement. Crystal is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and is currently receiving training in Dr. Quintal’s Trauma Resolution Therapy.
