Meet Kelsey
Kelcey’s ability to listen with care, compassion, and from a nonjudgmental position allows her to understand her clients and their goals.
She focuses on providing support for them to envision their goals with more manageable steps in order to achieve personal success. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Kelcey earned her Master of Social Work (clinical concentration) at the University of New England and Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology at Clark University.
She completed her first two years post-masters in her home state of Maine before moving to Florida. Her experience includes working for non-profit as well as for profit sectors. In both fields the settings included in-home, school-based, community-based, and residential, with individuals, families, and groups, and with ages ranging from children through older adults.
Now moving her work to the outpatient environment, she hopes to continue to help clients of all ages find their path to success and peace. Kelcey empowers her clients with a client-centered approach using methods and techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness.
When she is not working, Kelcey is most-likely spending time with her beloved dog, Drako. She also enjoys reading, going to the beach, and exploring nature. She is committed to never stop learning.
