Meet Dana
Dana genuinely cares for people and uses a nonjudgmental approach to support clients in their time of need. She is empathetic but direct as she encourages clients to explore their personal thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
She believes that therapy doesn’t have to be restricted and likes to build honest relationships with her clients where they are comfortable to laugh, cry, and express all feelings in a safe environment.
Dana uses a combination of therapeutic methods including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness. Her goal is to help clients address their individual needs and support them in successfully making the changes they want.
Dana earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She spent a year overseas working with child victims and families impacted by online sexual exploitation. She has experience working with children and adolescents with significant behavioral concerns as well as individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and family difficulties.
Dana currently works as an elementary school counselor as well as a therapist at Dr. Quintal and Associates.
Dana enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine, especially at the beach. She enjoys spending her free time with her young daughter and special needs dog.
